Shanna Combs

Shanna M. Combs, M.D., FACOG, Ob/Gyn Clerkship Director, TCU and UNTHSC School of Medicine

Shanna M. Combs, M.D., FACOG, initially started out as a ballet dancer and received her undergraduate degree in ballet from Texas Christian University. After pursuing a career in ballet, Dr. Combs made the transition to her lifelong ambition of a career in medicine. Dr. Combs received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She then returned to Fort Worth, TX, where she completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital.  She has continued her practice in Fort Worth, Texas, as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist as a member of the Acclaim Physician Group.  She also works in medical education as an Assistant Professor with the Texas College of Osteopathic of Medicine at UNTHSC and is also the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clerkship Director with the new TCU and UNTHSC School of Medicine.

Sreenivas Gudimetla

Sreenivas Gudimetla, M.D., Cardiologist, Cardiologist, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth

Sreenivas Gudimetla, M.D. was born in Manhattan, Kan., and graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a bachelor's degree in biology in 1987. His medical training was completed at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he remained on faculty in general internal medicine for two years. Dr. Gudimetla completed training in cardiovascular diseases at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and joined Consultants in Cardiology in 1999. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Gudimetla's interests include cardiac pacing, diagnostic invasive cardiology, non-invasive cardiac imaging, and clinical research. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association (AHA) in Fort Worth, is the chief of the medical staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, serves on the Board of Trustees at Texas Health Fort Worth Hospital and Fort Worth Academy School, is an alternate Delegate on the Board of Tarrant County Medical Society, and is the immediate past president of the Tarrant County AHA Board of Directors.

Brianna Henderson

Brianna Henderson, Founder and President, LetsTalkPPMC

Ms. Brianna Henderson was diagnosed at 23 with a pregnancy induced heart failure, 3 years after learning what took her sister's life just 6 months after the birth of her second child. A year later Ms. Brianna Henderson began her advocacy for peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM), creating an organization to help save other women lives.

Shanice Roberts

Shanice Roberts, BS, MPH Student, Maternal and Child Health Concentration, UNT Health Science Center

Shanice Roberts is a 2nd year maternal and child health student at University of North Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health. Shanice currently interns with the Healthy Start Program in the Department of Pediatrics & Women's Health. Shanice's research interests include post-partum depression, as well as women's sexual and reproductive health.
